I still remember the first time I ever met a horse. I was very small but I remember being swung onto his back and how my right hand instinctively reached down to touch his mane. It felt like soaring and I never wanted to come down. In the years since I've been fortunate to work with many truly great horseman, some you've probably heard of and some you haven't. They've helped me tremendously over the years but the greatest teachers, about riding, about life and all, are horses.
